Who We Are

We are proud to be part of the Clear Automotive Group, which was officially formed in 2021 after years of hard work and dedication to uniting two long-standing dealership groups in the Manchester area: the Larabee Family and the Carter Family.

We first opened our doors in 1936 as Carter Chevrolet and were run by the Carter Family for 80 years before being acquired by the Larabee Family in 2016. After the acquisition, we relocated to our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility on Hartford Turnpike in Vernon in 2017 and rebranded as Vernon Chevrolet in 2021.

We also introduced the Clear Advantage in 2021, demonstrating our commitment to delivering an unmatched customer experience. In 2023, we pioneered our unique "One Person, One Process, One Promise" approach, emphasizing simplicity, transparency, and personalized service.
